I managed to put myself in a positive mental state last night, thinking about how lucky I am to have the blessings that I have. To have the place where I live, a loving wife and my beautiful dogs. But, Murphy didn't like that, it seems.
Lunita, my tiny angel woke me up in the middle of the night vomiting. It's not like vomiting is a rare thing for dogs, but this time it was different.
I got up to check on her, to find blood on her fur...
Remain calm, it's 4am
Was my mantra for a good minute, before I woke up my wife gently, and with a calmness that does not belong to me.
We cleaned her up, had her drink water, and held her tight in a towel to keep her warm until morning came.
I just came back from the Vet, but my Luna had to stay behind. I can't take it, I can't sit still, and thus I'm writing something on here to avoid acting like an idiot.
There's a chance the blood in her poop is a sign of liver problems, and the very idea is killing me.
I know they don't live forever, I know that, but she's just three. FFS!!!
I'm a mess...

I feel for you. We've lost plenty of pets as you outlive most of them. Have to enjoy the time you get with them.
