Meet Mika
This is Mika, a dog we just got in August of 2017. Now that she has about 8 months, I'm happy to report most of her puppy teeth are gone, so my hands are not suffering anymore.
Mika is a purebred long coat German Shepherd from Alta-Tollhaus in Michigan. Now that her big half-brother Steve is away for training in Germany, Mika gets a lot more attention.
This particular pup was picked for us especially because she has a good front side compared to the other pups of the litter. This helps her move better than the other pups, which will be important for dog shows. Some of the other features that maker her desirable (besides being adorable) include her dark face and darker than normal eyes.
She's already been to a bunch of obedience classes, although she sneaks in bad habits on occasion. She is generally very food motivated because we keep her a little....it's better to keep them on the lighter side when they are growing up so there is no extra stress put on their frames.
Mika shares an instagram page with her big half-brother Steve @stevetopdog so if you have some time, go visit the page and see all the great pictures.
Take care!

That last picture 😍. She's a great looking Shepherd.
What kind of dog shows do you do?
Sieger shows...all German Shepherds. Last year Steve won his category (untitled long coat males, 24+months). He was an underdog so we were very proud.
Mika won her category (junior puppy long coat female) during the Seiger show in Surrey, BC last fall.
Aww shes lovely x
Thank you! She's a cutie and such a character...seems to have the rebellious teen spirit even though she is far from being a teen!
