Hi guys! The inside remodel is further along than this, but I dug up some photos of how it progressed to show you.
So this was the beginning of my loft......the double top Douglas Fir railings still needs to be installed, and the 4x12 Douglas fir stair treads that will be a sweeping curve are also not installed yet. To the right the two recessed alcoves, that now have glass shelves are where the computer that I am typing on now sits. To the left the opening with the plastic over it is where I now have installed my third custom built door, and below this is all storage.
I wired everything with LED puck lighting, and I made sure to put in plenty of outlets with two separate electrical circuits, because I put our portable A/C unit up in the loft. This way in the summer the cool air drops and cools the great room, and you can see to the right where the A/C vents outside.
So this was last winter, you probably guessed looking at the snowshoes up in the loft........
