Three American prisoners freed by North Korea thank President Trump

Three US nationals released after being arrested and jailed by Kim Jong Un have thanked Donald Trump for securing their release.

The freed Americans are now in Alaska, before moving to Washington to see Donald Trump.

In an announcement made by the men they said:

“We are very grateful and thankful to the United States government, most especially Donald Trump, Mike Pompeo, and the general citizens of the States.”

“We really give thanks to God, and also our families and Companions, who didn’t left us and prayed for our return.”

May God Bless United state, the greatest country in the world, the men says.

Their fast release comes after Mr Kim held meeting with US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, who travelled to North Korea before the planned meeting between president Trump and Kim Jong Un.

Donald Trump said he would meet the three Americans when they arrive in the states on Thursday morning.

He posted:

“I am very happy to tell you that Mike Pompeo is travelling back and on his way back to US with the 3 US prisoners in North korea.”

“They are in good condition. Also, the planned summit with Kim Jong Un. Date & Place has been approved.”

Donald Trump added : ” Mike Pompeo and his ‘US nationals’ will arrive at Andrews Airport at 2:00 A.M. in the morning”.

I will be there to welcome them. Trump said.

The three US nationals are said to be in good condition and were able to stand without stretchers, white house confirmed.

While with the current release of the Three US citizens, Analyst believe the planned US summit with North Korea will be successful.

However before now, the only US citizen to have been released by Mr Kim without Trump interference is Otto Warmbier.

Warmbier returned to America in a bad condition and died.
