Dota 2 Asia Championship 2018 which was held on March 30 - April 7, 2018 with a total prize of US $ 1 million and featuring the top 15 teams match has produced the champion.

The competition was a surprising result because Mineski from the Philippines succeeded in becoming the champion and was entitled to bring home US $ 370K with 750 DPC points.

This victory is also a historical record because they managed to become the first Southeast Asian team to bring home the trophy Dota 2 Major. Remarkably, Mineski even carve a nearly perfect result on this title.

In the group stage, they go into group B along with the top teams namely, Virtus.pro, Evil Geniuses, Team Secret, Invictus Gaming, VGJ.Thunder, Effect, and PaiN Gaming. In the group that contains even scary teams, Mineski got away with only 1 defeat from the VP who escaped without losing even once.

In the playoff round with a double elimination system, Mineski strolled smoothly by always being in the upper bracket. Although indeed his opponent in the game Grand Final, LGD Gaming, arguably a little more ill-fated because it must meet with Evil Geniuses and Team Liquid. While Mineski 'only' have to deal with OpTic Gaming and Vici Gaming.

LGD Gaming had descended to the lower bracket when meeting with Mineski in the final upper bracket. They went back up after winning the final lower bracket match against a team that is considered the main champion in this tournament, Virtus.pro.

Met again in the Grand Final, both Mineski and LGD Gaming to show their best performance and presents a very stressful game once bergitu memorable.

LGD Gaming originating from China actually had led the Grand Final party is in the third game with a score of 2-1. However, Mineski again managed to win the fourth and fifth game in the Bo5 party.
