I don't know, he has downvoted me twice without even having an SBI vote so I think he's on rampage. He's just downvoting anyone with less SP than him because he knows they can't counter. I bet he doesn't even touch the whales.
I guess you are right about the whales. Although no-one can realistically "counter" his attacks, other than by self-upvotes and community upvotes. What he is doing is forcing us defend ourselves by actually creating communities who upvote within, e.g. "voting rings" that he says he is fighting against.
He was claiming a whale could "destroy" him, but since he isn't even posting much, I wonder how that is even a possiblity. I also don't see how the whales can take his voting power away anyway. They might be able to affect his reputation, but not his SP.
Well I guess at least this is good in the sense it lets us see a flaw in the Steem network. Let's hope the devs do something about it. The ability to block a user from interacting in anyway with your account seems the wisest approach to me.
