Do you use the dtube dApp on STEEM?

The State of the dApps and it is Number 30 overall. Dtube is also Number 8 in its SOTD’s “Social” category.The @dtube dApp is currently number 12 of the steem dApps according to the rankings at

In order to use dtube, you need to go to their site and publish your video with them. You may get a dtube upvote on your post which might be very high or under $1.

I have used dtube to post in the past, but stopped. I found it very technically challenging and I was not getting good upvotes for the effort I was making. I also did not feel I had too much to say in a video.

I have other places I post with, so I gave up on trying.

I also have trouble watching @dtube videos, so I don’t usually click into them.

How about you? Please tell me your experience along with any tips and tricks. I want to hear from you.

Theres room for much improvement with communication. But everything else as a whole is fantastic I think. I get most of the time upvotes. Not every time. That wasnt on the answer selection. But they do the best they can with what they have.

I tried it myself and it never worked as needed. I always had some issue with the platform. Whether it was uploads not completing or thumbnails corrupting there was always something and now I just stick to YouTube for my video hosting needs.

I use it occasionally, hope to increase that in the future. The upvotes they give out are nice, but I'm not bummed that I have yet to receive one.

The video play back is pretty hit or miss at times, it takes a bit too long to buffer up relatively short videos.
