- Daniel Craig
I'm choosing Daniel Craig, mostly for the way the tone of the movies have shifted, rather than necessarily liking the actor more, or for how they play the role.
Prior, there was quite a bit of tongue in cheek involved in the James Bond movies, which seemed to come to a peak during the Roger Moore years. I think things started to change ever so slightly with Pierce Brosnan, but with Daniel Craig, they've been full on much more serious.
Which I believe is good for the franchise. Now, if they could only consistently come up with good villains every movie. It's been hit and miss lately, with Casino Royale and Skyfall both having very good villains, while Quantum of Solace and Spectre didn't quite get there.
