I sell votes when my voting power reaches a certain point. I reach that point quite frequently in the current environment. After the changes I will curate far more content. I plan to raise my voting power requirement for vote selling. I will probably only sell votes when I am unable to vote before my voting power reaches that point. So ideally, I will stop selling votes altogether.
Edit:
I am considering buying small votes to get my posts on the linear portion of the rewards curve. If my posts can get onto the linear portion naturally, I won't need to. Currently, my posts very rarely get above 6 STU.
Hey, @spectrumecons.
Thank you for the answers and the details. Very interesting. I think you may be the second person who has mentioned considering the new curve and what you might be able to do to get into the linear portion of it.
It will be interesting to see how many of us find the need to do that because our posts aren't getting to the that part of the curve. Which might mean an increase in bot usage rather than a slow down.
At the same time, though, it sounds like you would curate more and not sell votes as much. Again, I wonder how many of us will also do similarly? I guess we're going to find out. :)
