What can we do for the environment?
I heard on the radio that an architect has developed a floating platform that can filter plastic waste from water. I have inserted a link for you here.
I think it's great. But we also have many possibilities to do something for our environment.
- I put my waste in a package that I have to throw away anyway, for example the toilet paper plastic bag for waste
- I buy sunglasses for example see shaanivc hunt*
- I throw my cigarette butts into the manhole cover, so my environment remains clean ;)
- I take an old carton, which they throw away anyway in the shop, for my purchase
- I don't use straws
- I separate aluminium, plastic, paper... and give it for recycling
- I'm thinking if I really need all the plastic stuff
- I buy a stable plastic bag for 0,99 Cent for my purchases and take this stable bag for the garbage, this is practical and my garbage can stays clean ;)
- I take the new vegetable and fruit nets made of cotton, which can be washed again and again and used endlessly
- I throw my banana peel into my neighbor's garden, so organic waste is disposed of well and my neighbor is happy because it becomes good soil ;)
- I use less fuel
- I prefer to put on a jacket and I don't need to heat the stove
- I take more regional fruit and vegetable products, they are not transported so far around
- I eat less meat, with lots of vegetables and side dishes
- I drink water from the tap
- I use returnable glass bottles instead of plastic bottles
- I don't buy a plastic bag, but take my fabric bag with me to go shopping

I reuse plastic bottles to keep drinking water around my computer, washing them throughly before refilling.
Thank you for voted : D. You do a lot for our environment. The 0.99 cents but you do not need to spend. The garbage you can also in cheaper bags, or for example, as you have said before, for. B. throw away with toilet paper plastic bag.
If I try to recycle by different categories it'll be no good since the garbage truck doesn't care about it. There's only carton/plastic day and everything-else day. It's a shame.

I used to play steemgar back when it had a lot of players and it still got good rewards. The dev let it lag out and people stopped playing it. Would you look at @makemoneygaming though? You don't have to win to get upvoted, playing is enough. You can even play from your mobile phone. I'm trying to kickstart it, please do take a look if you can.
Hello felipejoys :D. I tried the game, but it takes me too long to translate it. I have too much problems with that, I have to learn much more English. I think the game is also very time consuming, I can't do everything in time. I think that's a pity. Steemgar is only a few minutes and you don't have to be able to translate English during the game. Too bad, I don't have enough time to learn English intensively. I do that, but that's too little. I wish you a nice Sunday and a lot of fun playing :D

Also, you don't have to win during the session to get rewarded, so it's okay to suck at it. Please reconsider! :)

Well the other times I only gave a upvote because I wasn't signed up with dpoll but I signed up 2 months ago, banana peels go into the compost aswell.
Yeah, that's what I always do. Banana peels can also be used for health, but they have to be biological. You can have a look on youtube :D

Great class, akomoajong, you're an environmentalist. Thats a lot of good points. Only the 0.99 Cent you can also save, because you could also take e.g. only the 1. point. You could use the sturdy bag only for shopping. You can save 10-30 Euro per month. Thank you very much for having so many points and that you voted on my dpoll :D

I try to use less water, try to reuse what I can and encourage others. 😊
Right, rem-steem, I'll do that, too. I often press the button for little water in the toilet and bathe only once a week in my mini shower :D But we shouldn't save when drinking water, it's really existential to drink a lot. It's great, your many efforts for our environment. You can always use the bag for 0,99 Cent for shopping, I find it expensive to take it for the garbage. For garbage it also does thin inferior or the 1st point, which you also called, e.g. in the toilet paper plastic bag. Thanks, rem-steem, this is great for our environment, you have thought a lot :D

Yes, jeffjagoe, I'd like that too. I always grow vegetables in the garden and in front of my front door I have grown a lot of herbs. I like parsley, chives, nettles, sage, chamomile, basil, thyme, rosemary. But unfortunately almost everyone works, men as well as women, and in the canteens, apart from a few exceptions, there is a lot of meat almost every day. And in the evening, when people come home, they are too tired to grow food. They sit in front of the houses and rest, or are inside, probably cook something quickly and they watch television.
