What's your favourite payment method, which you've actively used at least multiple times in the last 3 months to purchase goods & services online?
I've been working on a new project for the last few months. While I'm not sharing anything in detail about it yet, I thought I'd leverage the power of our Steem community and make a quick poll regarding payment methods.
So, the question is the following:
What's your favourite payment method, which you've actively used at least multiple times in the last 3 months to purchase goods & services online (outside of the Steem ecosystem)

Creditcard: only 'when necessary'. I hate putting in my CC details and I don't like buying stuff on credit anyway. I'd rather have my money written off my account immediately so I don't spend money I don't have and actually can see on my account how much money I own.
PayPal: YES! They did it. Easy to use, I can connect multiple bank accounts (I own three), and it shows a nice history, plus I can choose to keep a balance in the account itself or just transfer it in my bank account. If any online system offers PayPal it's always my 'go to' option.
Others: in the Netherlands we have 'iDeal' which is a way to pay online and supported by all Dutch banks, so it's pretty common to see this as the first/most important payment option over here. If on desktop you select which bank you use and then with an external 'card reader' you scan a colour code on your screen with your card and pincode 'read' with that same 'reader'. Not as easy to use as PayPal but the fact you need your card, your pincode and a reader that then has to read your personal colour code on screen makes it one of the safest methods I use on a regular basis.
But as said... When I see PayPal I select PayPal because I'm often too lazy to get up from the couch to go grab my 'reader' ;-)

I have not purchased goods & services online in the last 3 months.
Except that I topped up my mobile phone (Vodafone) balance with my bank account on the internet. I used to top my mobile phone balance in physical Vodafone stores.
I started to do this with the Internet bank nowadays.
But my favorite online payment method in general is PayPal.
I used (paid and received a payment with) it multiple times in the last few years.
I paid with credit card on the internet a very few times.
I rarely pay with it even offline.
I made a traditional direct banking (SEPA) transfer only once so far only to confirm my CoinBase account.
I have not used Venmo, ApplePay and TransferWise so far.
I had a Skrill account in the past (I created it on 2015.07.07), but I used (paid and received a refund with) it only once, and I closed it on 2019.03.18.
I also have a Neteller account (I created it on 2015.04.28), but I have not paid (nor received a payment) with it so far.

To begin with, PayPal isn't available in my country and credit just started getting popular with high transaction and maintenance fees.
Bitcoin and MTN Mobile money (I am sure you probably know or heard of MTN, a giant telecommunications service provider) are the ultimate means of my online transactions.
I pay for goods and services on online platforms within the country through MTN Mobile money. An example of such platform is Jumia while I pay on foreign platforms with bitcoin.
Also, Buying STEEM requires a transition from cash to mobile money to bitcoin to STEEM and vice versa if I am selling.

Credit Card as i bought some stuff from aliexpress but most of the times when there is an option i use paypal.
But i am not the most representative as in our country cash is still much prefered. even when you order material things you pay to the delivery guy in cash.
Could not pay anything in crypto as i am stupid enough to have only steem and like 10$ in bitcoin. also just heard about wirex but not even sure if it would work in my country.

Mostly I used paypal and creditcard. there is no cryptocurrency payment method in my country. I think no rule supporting such crypto payment in my country.
Credit cards cost the vendor, not me. In addition, I get points. I’d love to be able to buy products that can be exchanged for crypto, like Steem Monsters packs.

Crypto - I use Steem to pay for my Server every month using Privex
PayPal - Anything that accepts it for ease of use
Other - Debit card for anything else
Creditcard payment platform is bank specific. There are just too many insirances discounts and safety mechanisms.
Cryptocurrency. Great for virtual items and services. I paid virus and vpn. I've only used BTC and LTC (and ETH for ICOs) but would prefere something cheaper and faster like xlm steem or xrp.

Everything online via credit card. It is simple, fast, easy and safe. I've only had my info stolen once and the bank regulated quickly.
In rare cases SEPA. I don't like remembering to pay invoices and its extra steps.
I try to avoid PayPal because I think its expensive for the merchant and there are too many stories about them mishandling situations. Don't want to deal with that.

Definitely PayPal. It's pretty much all I use since the places I shop at, this is the second option or the only one they accept from my country of residence. Credit cards aren't nearly as useful since they get rejected half the time for no reason (I'm looking at you Amazon) and overall aren't as convenient.
I did use BitPay as well a few weeks ago though, converting some Steem to Bitcoin to pay. Once everything was setup, it was a pretty seamless experience actually.

I know many hate paypal, but it is easy, fast and I only have to give my creditcard info to one site. This matters to me.
Also I have some confidence that when and if there are problems I have a course of action for resolution.

I used btc through coinpayments to buy websitw traffic. I also used paypal to buy electronic gear and print stuff.

My thoughts would surely be
Debit Card - others
this is Credit Card comes with all sorts of other problems and especially in Asia where the avg income is not that high , ppl who tends to use Credit Card gets into the debt trap very easily. So Debit Cards is my no.1 choice ... spend only what you have plus some debit cards have a lot of perks like the one i am using also earns me points with Air Asia the largest budget airline operator in Asia.
Paypal - even though fees are high, can't deny the acceptence of Paypal in almost all online store. Plus it does not plunge me into debt unless I connect my Credit Card to it.
Thats what I vote for ... hope it makes sense .
paper cash. i dont use smartphone for doing crypto or mobile pay and i hate the fact that the credit cards leave at my bank a trace of my where abouts. maybe one day i will use a smartphone once there is a decent KaiOS phone on the european market, though i dont like that google knows then everything with KaiOS.
