Try to have no drinks for a full month. Once you do that, you won’t want to drink much anymore (at least that’s what I did) I still have a drink every once in a while, but after taking a month off, I stopped craving it and using it as much as I used to. Cheers @trayan
I'm nearly 53 years old, and have never had an alcoholic beverage of any kind. I've had some flavorings, like a piña colado, but with soda water or maybe Sprite. Alcohol can be a tricky thing to manage for a lot of people, and I've just figured I'll avoid the downside by not doing it, and figure out how to feel good, or whatever the actual appeal is (taste maybe?) without it.

Not an absolutist, so yes. I occasionally (once a month approximately) drink a beer or two, or take a shot of something stronger like rum, whisky or gin.
I don't think drinking alcohol is bad, it's only the quantities you allow (or in my case, force) yourself to drink that matters. I drink because I like the taste, but not because of how it makes me feel.
