Have You Noticed A Drop In The Content Length Of Traditional Media/News?

The news sites have been extremely terrible cesspools of hatred, half truths, propaganda, misinformation and yellow journalism on steroid that is also cozy with Marxist/collectivist ideals that grow like a cancer. So I stay away from these websites a lot. Today I came across some content and the length was truly surprising. It was only comparable to a @dlike post (I normally make posts on @dlike that is much larger than the length of an article of an established news site)

It just looked like the content length has gone down a good 65% in an year or so while maintaining the same amount of ads and intellectual dishonesty. But what I experienced today could e some outlier/isolated incident. That is why I'm asking dpoll for a more broader outlook.

• I don't know, i don't have a TV, nor do i have a bird cage that needs lining.

I remember 60 minutes, a TV news show long ago. And it was 60 minutes of solid news about the world. I remember the news shows being 30-60 minutes including the weatherman. It had no time for Kim Card ash ian and what she was butt ing into.

Every snippet i have seen recently is all contrived fluff and opinion pieces.
"Lets go live to so and so who is the expert"... who isn't an expert, unless he is given a script to read...

60 minutes was actually pretty good. I think it is still alive. But 24/7 news is just a joke. I prefer more educational channels on YouTube. There are channels with some solid content. Here are few:
