Since the creature is not aware of his presence, he need to look for a big stick and knock the creatures into unconsciousness.

Ooojhhhhhhh this is a great opportunity for our hero to confront the masked creatures that wouldn't yeiled to any of his tactics...but since it is just an averter, are we sure out hero will be visible to the creature?
I think it would be best to try and avoid the creature for now. We need to use the game to locate a weapon cache somewhere before we confront anyone.
IDK, I think it's a trap. The masked creatures found a way to get him to sit still long enough for them to prepare the anal implant. Run Hero! Run!
Obviously, we have to suddenly jump at him and grab him, so he won't escape!
And then after a while release him, so he will understand that we are friendly!
Pull out the wooden club item from the inventory and click use on target! That should teach them for hiding! :D

He has a great opportunity here to explore everything related to that building.He can see things that he couldn't if he didn't have that virtual game.So he could go near the masked creature to see its behavior so that he is ready,or to keep searching
He Decides that skull mask creatures are not thread to him and leave them alone. He goes further to search the maze for any clue.
Go knock the damn creature down. Its a great opportunity

Here comes our hero.
Let the hero stay at some safe place for a time from where he can have a look at the skull mask creature. Lets the hero do this to determine the nature of the masked creature. Maybe he shares the same ideology as our lone hero does. If he lives to our heroes expectations he could turn out to be a great partner for our hero. If he fails our hero for sure can bamboozle him in a jiffy.

He should first see whether this thing will not do any harm to his avtar and if it doesn't he should himself go to that corner and see is there any possibility that thing is gonna help him.

Since I can't meme the dildo right now, I would say to approach the creature and see what it says. If nothing, and our heroes digital avatar has a weapon, then he should take that son of a bitch out and put on its outfit as a disguise to try and infiltrate them to figure out what's going on.
oohhhh, game of my generation! What you have to do is move to the right and then go up strategically, when he gets off and you leave quickly! It's what I can think of! But beware if he catches you, and if he catches you, game over! I love the TV, very classic
I would make him run as fast as he can and catch the skull mask. And then interrogate him ,take all the valuable information from him. Kill that son of a bitch and get out of there.
How good those games of our time, the old ones, where there were not so many strategies in the game and it was something that amazed you completely! I played many in my time with these games
He should observe the skullmask creature and follow it around. If it doesn't do anything interesting, then he should sneak up and try to talk to it. Perhaps he would have to capture it first.
We should be very quiet and slowly head to the corner of the wall, like Rambo.

It's time our hero got tactical! Generally speaking, in Atari games when you touch another sprite you typically die. Maybe our hero should maneuver past the skull mask creature and get an idea of the lay of the land. Recon work...

I'd say keep the stealth approach. Silent but deadly is usually a great way to take out someone without alerting more. There could be more creatures lying in wait ahead.
First, our Hero must know what his avatar is capable of in the game before he confronts the skull mask creatures. He must know what weapons to use or how to fight. But I think our Hero shall continue to explore the maze city and leave the skull mask creatures alone for a while.
