There appears to be a missing gear and drive belt which would permit the other gears to turn what looks like an electrical turbine. There's a hole in the ceiling and another doorway in the far wall.
What would you have our hero do next?

He should use himself as a third gear so the factory will start working again.

Its time to show the world what are you made off, find the missing gear & start the electrical turbine.
Maybe something will fall from the hole in the ceiling. If something good falls then he has to grab it and run to the doorway.
Carefully check if there is a movement inside both holes. And lets proceed to the next room, maybe we can find the last gear part.

There is also a map near the gears, may they are the instructions to drive the gear assembly or a map to find the missing gear, our hero should go through that first.
At first our hero must switch on the gears plug, i think the gear is not missing but is on the other side of the wall, so lets see the effect after switching on the plug.
I think the ist gear and drive belt is on the backside and the drive belt is further connected to the second gear on its back side i.e behind the wall.
Did he know to start the gear any instructions.

The ceiling hole needs a ladder that is kept in the other room. Go find the ladder so that we can go through ceiling hole..
I think our hero must find out the missing gear and start the electric turbine and see what Happens. Maybe something will fall from the hole in the ceiling. If anything good falls then he should grab it and run towards the doorway.
A hole.... He will definately jump in the hole... Our hero will enter anykinda hole

Fuck, I wish he had that ladder. Since the hole looks tough to surface, maybe he should go through that other door and see what the TP situation is. Often, you can find a ton of toilet paper in pretty much any closet
