Good day Steemit crew~
Today I want to share this digital piece I was making for some time.
This suppose to be another simple practice for testing my brushes and coloring but ended up turning into another huge painting.
In this post i'm going to show the process I took to convert and old sketch of last year into this full color piece. Let's get start with it.

In this Link, I showed sometime ago a WIP (Work in progress) of the piece. I normally spend 1 month in each digital piece. I'm super slow because I'm learning. I like to do the things well done even I make mistakes. That, ironically, is a mistake itself, because for learn, you have to make mistakes. But oh well. I'm tought with myself .
In case you haven't noticed, the tittle of the piece, is a sarcasm to myself. Because the only thing I draw mostly of the time are elves, because I FUKING LOVE ELVES SO MUCH (sin'dorei).
Enough little talk. Let's begin with the PAINting process.
* 1: The Sketch
Here it is the drawing which began everything. A little sketch of my boi I made as a part of my daily sketches.
* 2: The Lines
This is basically before and after the WIP image I showed before. In my digital piece I normally made the skelleton of the figure again using the traditional sketch as a kind of guide (left). after that, I go to make cleaner lines. (right).
* 3: Flat Coloring.
Here I set the basic color I plan to use. I still have no idea how to make background properly, that is why is just put a flat pink color.
* 4: Shadow and refining.
Here comes the pain fun part. Changed the color of the background to purple, and added the shadows according the reference I was using. Light came from upper left so shadow must lay on the other side. And that was basically I did.
On this part also, I try to correct mistakes and add more details. Like as you can see (comparing to the flat coloring), add more hair and fix the nose (or tried to).
* 5: Polishing and embellesing.
Here I add more shadow, make softer some stuffs, try to correct things that doesn't fit me so much. Added some textures to the background and the Light glow in his eyes. And my signature because I'm stupidly proud of what I did. My boy looks so alive. ;w;

Sorry if I wasn't explanatory enough but I'm still learning this, I need to still practice and learning a lot. I have many problems with shadow and noses :3c
In case you were wonder who is the character, He is a original character of mine. He is a Blood elf Rogue I role in World of Warcraft. According to a friend, nobody will care about my roleplay stuffs about WoW, But i'll put it anyway ^.^
As a master of Assasination and deadly potions, don't let his handsome beauty trick you. Scion is a dangerous, annoying rogue. Specialite in close combat and very experiment in the art of shadow and subtlety. You will not know when the death comes when you are his target.">
Easly confused as a lady, it's not a problem for him. Otherwise, He will use this "condition" to use it against you. His curious is as huge as a cat, at the point he gets into troubles and misunderstandings unnecersaly. As a Rogue, His loyalty can be buy for gold, Do you need a job done? you can pay him for it. He will do it for you. But be aware, his service aren't cheap.
Rumours says he has the same lives as a cat has.
