Hello People,
I got my sketchbook today made by Canson. It's pretty good. No complaints so far. I'm going to start drawing in it today.
I'm going to try and get another sketchbook for mix media. The pages are rougher aka "toothy". I could practice the soft pastels on them. The pages in this book are smoother for pencil, ink and marker.
It also has nifty folder in the back.
Questions for other Artists:
I am looking for an inexpensive folder /portfolio to hold all my loose drawings. Any recommendations?
Anyone who has used soft pastels before, can you recommend a professional / good brand?
What is your favorite sketchbook and why?

Good. let's start doing some work. i got my sketch book almost 4 years back. and it feels so exiting.

I had a lot of sketchbooks since grade school. Some are gone but some of my Art from when I was a kid right up to college is still in my moms basement lol. I should dig them up one day and take a look. Draw on my friend! I drew my first page today see my latest post. Thanks
