A pen portrait exploring several techniques. I tried cross hatching with lines one way for the light tones and then lines overlapping for the darker tones. I used a reference photo from Pinterest. The model looks both scared and innocent. Her eyebrows are a good indicator of her emotion.

cross hatching works really good... i use this technique to shade my sketch. its easier and the sketch looks good as a rough portrait....
