Bruce Lee, born as Lee Jun-Fan (San Francisco, California; November 27, 1940-Kowloon, Hong Kong; July 20, 1973), was a leading martial artist, martial arts master, actor, filmmaker, philosopher and American writer of Chinese origin, recognized throughout the world for being the renovator and exponent of martial arts, dedicating his life to this discipline, seeking perfection and truth, coming to create his own method of combat and philosophy of life, the Jun Fan Gung-Fu, which some time later and added to his philosophical concept would be called, the Jeet Kune Do or "the way of the intercepting fist"
