My beginnings as a draftsman, my first drawings with graphite pencil..

in #drawing7 years ago

Greetings Community of Steemit this time I bring you a post about my first drawings with graphite pencil.

These drawings were my first steps incurring in the world of artistic drawing and behind each drawing there is a story.

Since I was a child, I was very interested in everything that had to do with art, drawings, shapes, colors, landscapes, among other things, towards sculptures and figures with plasticine, with practice I became good at that. For me the maximum toy was the one that you could transform into what you could imagine and from an early age I liked to draw a lot things and natural landscapes because it is a skill that occurs naturally but as we all know the skills must be put into practice to be able to develop and maintain, then over time and more practice to acquire a higher level of skill.

I started in a blog for drawings doing some exercises that are very useful to go acquiring skill in drawing with a pencil of charcoal, (it is the most boring apr but it is very useful) I was progressing a bit in the exercises executing more advanced exercises and so little by little I was getting to the basic concepts of artistic drawing as: the blur, the values of light, shadow, lighting, contrast and how to give depth to the shapes so they can be seen in 3 dimensions.

This was my first drawing and I did it for me, I met a gothic metal band called Lacrimosa that I liked a lot because their songs have a unique style coming from the mix Gothic metal and melodies of classical music and the voice of Tilo Woff (Vocalist) gives a touch a dark touch, the lyrics of his songs are usually love poems or love tragedy, but I was also inspired by the covers of their albums.

Second drawing that I did and it was a gift for a friend and college student who had lost a very close brother recently, she felt very identified with the image so that inspired me to make a version drawn by me, here I leave the original version of the image on the basis of which I made the drawing ..

Those were my humble beginnings in the world of artistic drawing, then upload a post with other drawings I hope you like my post and upvote: V
