Very beautifully done! I really love the colors you chose, it is very fitting to the picture and adds a conflict with the story. Pink usually 'paint' an individual as meek and she's quite the opposite. I love it.

In the beginning when I coloured this one, I actually had a lot of troubles because the colours just didn't look right when I put them into the picture. Little by little the colours spoke to me and this is what came up, in my head it's actually purple or mauve, but I understand that people can see it as pink as well now :).

A camera can never to a picture true justice. Something with the lighting changes things slightly. I can picture the colors you mention and it's just a beautiful. I think this is one of those you can choose different tone and keep with the same type of things, it would look amazing.
