There was once a spidery contents here but a spider has now put them inside coccoons.... Like Shelob did with Frodo Baggins~ Or maybe like those fleshy things in Aliens before the chestburster bursts out of them~ Yep, like one of those things :D

Wow without reference... Love this Japanese style house
Thanks very much!! I also love this style of buildings :)
Nice ome friend. From afar without even reading your write up, one can tell it is a cathedral. And you gave it more debt when you added that piece of tree at the far end.
Bravo!
Hey that discord link you dropped would really be helpful. Thanks a bunch.
it ... it is a tea house :D;;;;
but now that i look at it, i guess it can sort of look like a cathedral ???
:D thank you !
Haha I saw a scross there that's why I thought of it as that.
What a quaint teahouse! Great job spidey~
Thank you, @thilah !!! <3
Hermoso cuadro con una técnica poco usual.

thank you? i think :)
I'm pretty bad at architecture, sometimes I throw a perspective grid down and it takes the guess work out. I feel like this is missing something, maybe a couple of town folk riding kangaroos? Great work @veryspider
hahahahah that'd be the thing !! roo-riders :D
...
omg
i completely did not think about the perspective grid
:screaming emoji:
what is wrong with me XD what kind of a sketcher am i geeeeeeeez
thanks so much, jeremy ! i will do that next time :D
also, i love your stuff so much man !
also, melbourne was great yesterday, what happened today ; __ ;
I will shamefully admit I have only just started using grids. Sometimes it's easier to just eyeball it!
Thank you! haha right!
I love tea houses! (You drink tea in them, right?)
Yep! You sure do !! :D

Great tea house! I like the details!
Thank you, @sweettais :)
Maybe the teahouse isn't open yet or has closed for the day which is why there's no people XD It's kind of a cute little building :) And don't feel bad about forgetting to shade places, could happen to anyone, there have been numerous occasions where I look at a drawing and think "yep done" and then after posting find out there's a bit I forgot to shade XD Which is why I usually leave them for a day or two before posting now. And if I have to touch it then it has to cool off another day or two XD
Chalk details is great for fabric and stone ;D LoL yeh unlike you I can't use them as intended, my drawing skills are not as good as yours XD
And seriously the "make biggu" cracks me up every time and I don't even know why. Maybe coz it's so cute XP
hahaha yeah, i need to let my stuff 'cool' before i upload them, maybe.... it is a skill i dont have. this patience!
awawah ryry draws in a very ryry style <3 i think your style is very adorable <3

Aaaahh you made such a nice and lovely architectural sketch, spideroo. I like looking at your sketch, they are so nice and ready to be included in some story book to accompany a fantasy story. I can imagine looking at this picture in a chapter when the main hero checks out the tea house to meet someone or to investigate something XD.
I'm not sure why but looking at those little tiny windows and doors being created is adorable lol.
buildings are hard . ___ .
but i think maybe once i draw more of them, i'll like them as much as i like my characters??? :D hahaha
thank you scrawls <3 i also like the windows and doors~
.... and yeah, maybe it would make a very interesting mystery scene !!! :D
Is that a software ?? I have never used or heard of it...Love the tea house-- so Japanese style and also love the effects..
did you study art?
yes, Krita is a software, and it is free to download :) it is amazing * ___ * here is where to get it: https://krita.org/en/
and no.. hahaha i studied business . __ .;;;;;
One should always try new mediums. Lovely post, my friend.
Thank you, Juandre :D Very kind !
I'm obviously not here because of the fact that I love everything that has to do with the Japanese culture cof cof XD
You make it look so simple to do. I'm bad at drawing buildings :(
hahaha :D um.... nooooo buildings are haaaaaaaard ... but i think i learned a thing or two, i might try to make more :D

Wow! Thank you for this tutorial. I love how you added little details to the building after the basic drawing. I have never tried to draw digitally because I thought it is too complicated but your video seems effortless and helpful for newbies like me.
I am glad it is useful to you :D Digital art is not that different than traditional media, you just need to focus on the basics and build from there :D Getting to know each tool is a good way to start being familiar with an art program :)
Thank you for the advice. I have tried some of the tools randomly but never properly the way you did lol :D I will learn from the basics and get familiar with the tools first before attempting an artwork.
Your tea house is beautiful, dear friend
Thank you, @marya77!! :D
