Welcome to my post and hope you are doing good today! 🌹This sketching is for participating a hosted Drawing Challenge#6 held by @helene. Thank you for hosting this competition and giving me this opportunity to draw and introduce my little niece, Elise to you.

This is Elise, my cute little niece and she is 6 months old. She has a older sister, Hayley. If you have followed my post, you probably see her in one of my previous post :)

這就是六個多月大的Elise，是不是很可愛？大家還記得Hayley嗎？可能有看我的帖子的朋友會記得Hayley，一個4歲多可愛的小女孩，她的妹妹就是Elise啦，Elise是一個很愛笑的寶寶，笑得很甜，常常讓人忍不住去逗她。

Let's begin! 我們開始吧!

1.First, I sketched the basic proportion of little Elise with my 4H pencil, lightly and roughly. I usually draw crosses( horizontal line and vertical line) as a guide line to help me to keep my drawing in proportion.

1.首先，用4H鉛筆輕描了小Elise的基本比例。我通常畫十字（水平線和垂直線）作為指導線來幫助我保持比例。

2.I erased the guide line and start draw the features like her eyes, eyebrows. Add shadow on the face to create depth.

2.擦除了指導線，開始繪畫眼睛，眉毛臉部輪廓特徵。另外，在臉上加了一些陰影，令臉部輪廓更立體。

3.After finishing sketching the features of the face, I continue with her hair and clothes.

3.完成臉部的繪畫後，我們可以開始畫頭髮和身體，因為想把注意力集中在人物的頭像，所以我決定擦掉肩膀下的衣服細節。

4.After adding tone and detail to the painting, I use darker pencil 3B to enhance the shadowing of the hair.

4.最後用較深色的3B鉛筆加強頭髮的陰影。我覺得面部陰影有點過重，所以修飾了一下。

I love to draw portraits aswell.
I did a portrait of a friend when she was a kid in ballpoint pen but I never finished it because it got lost.
I believe i uploaded it to facebook.
Your portrait looks awesome :) Keep on drawing and improving :)
