Drawing Challenge #3 Banana Pencil Sketch 香蕉铅笔素描

Hello friends,

I joined the contest by @Helene as encouraged by @htliao. This is first time I join this type of competition. Very excited. I started pencil drawing couple months ago. Still a green hand but I am trying. I picked banana as it's one of my favorite fruit.

The process(过程）:

Step 1: Start with part of the perimeters of the banana with dotted line.

第一步：先大概用虚线画部分边框

Step 2: Complete overall perimeters of the banana, try to draw as light as possible so it's easier to correct mistakes

第二步：把整个边框完成，在画的过程中尽可能轻，这样错了好修改

Step 3: Add a dotted line in the body for shading guide.

第三步： 在内部用虚线画上要涂阴影的地方

Step 4: Highlight more shading area at the bottom

第四步： 把底部要阴影的地方也大概画出

Step 5: Add a little bit more of the shading outside the perimeter following light source

第五步： 依照光线照的方向，把倒影的地方大概画出

Step 6: Finish up the shading and refine the perimeters, Here's the finished work.

第六步： 依照画好的阴影部分画上阴影，然后重新重点画出边框让它更清晰。完成作品

画的好立体啊！素描是最考验基本功的了，很棒哦！

谢谢，这都是加上阴影的效果。我特地把个香蕉放在灯光下看阴影要在哪，还需要改进。

好立体的香蕉，如果上了颜色的话，肯定跟真的一样，可以拿来吃了，哈哈

I don't think a banana drawing step by step is really great content. However I'm happy you're getting better.

Thanks. I have learned drawing by myself following a book for couple months. Still very junior. Hopefully over time I will get there. :)
