Folk herbalist, teacher, and author Corinne Boyer on Nox Mente

in #dreaming6 years ago

I have been terrible about putting up the new shows weekly on here and that is not a sign of my losing faith in this platform, it is simply a matter of time management. I still love steemit!

We have our live show every week as usual and I suspect the people here that are interested in the content or a particular guest are already in the know and follow us in other places. Every week we have such great guests and it's a sad thing that I have not been pinging the shows here more consistently -- Corinne's appearance was truly wonderful.

Corinne has been published by my three favorite publishers (one is in the works) and certainly is top notch in her field with the credentials to back her work up for those that observe all that (i.e. she is both scholarly through university and in the field well learned through long term praxis, not just bookish) -- she was a pleasure to share space with and brought such interesting content to the chat.

I hope you enjoy this fascinating conversation.

Herbalist, teacher, and author Corinne Boyer on Nox Mente!

Corinne is a folk herbalist, teacher, and writer with a passion for traditions surrounding plants and folk magick. She has been studying and working with plants since 1998. Corinne has taught community herb classes since 2005 and teaches weekly classes out of her home with a focus on wild crafting, medicine making, plant lore, folk medicine and traditional magick.

She has been published in various journals with articles about plant lore and history. Corinne created a free quarterly herbal newsletter called "The Gathering Basket", which was distributed to her local community from 2012-2017.

Her books include Under the Witching Tree published by Troy Books and Plants of the Devil published by Three Hands Press. Under the Bramble Arch is near completion and will be released by Troy Books in early 2019. She lives with her family in the forests of the Pacific Northwest.
