Some dream stuff and the Midjourney AI art creator

in #dreams2 years ago

Is anyone willing to be a volunteer? I would like to test my dream detective abilities. <3

All I need is someone (Or multiple people) to ask me a question, any question... And, I will ask my dreams for insight into that question.

It might take me a number of days and please don't expect any kind of "perfect" answer as it's sort of cryptic and kind of like tarot card reading where I have to interpret symbols...
But, I'm getting the point where I feel like I can start trying to work with others even if I'm not "good enough" yet to do it reliably.

PS... This picture was mostly created by an artificial intelligence called "Midjourney", I just entered a few words...
IIRC the words were... A dreamy detective exploring the akashic records, vibrant colors, high detail.

And, wow... This AI is amazing! They say you get about 25 free uses and I used them all up quick!
It was so incredibly fun making images and also looking at the images other people came up with, it's making me think about paying for a subscription even though money is tight.

I'll include a link below in the comments that explains more about it, and also a couple fascinating links on precognitive dreaming that I found as well.
Hope you're all doing as good as possible! Much love. <3

Also, a quick poem I made to go with this image.

Changing the present from the future.
Into realms unexplored.
Discovering codes sent like a computer.
While finding even more.
So beautiful you were.
And, still beautiful you are forever at the core.
Went following clues of her.
Into such an incredible heart torn.
Strands of colors blurred, unsure what was heard.
Changing into a multitude of new forms.
Lost dancing among so many, wondering what for...?
Constantly dying and being reborn.
Where does all this goes towards?
Away to a place so far from the norm.
Beyond all known lore.
At one with the rainbow after the storm.

I'm happy to volunteer!

Sweet! Thanks @aussieninja :)

Just give me a question, any question and I'll work on it when it lines up properly.
I have at least one person (Maybe a couple) who asked me first on Facebook and I figure I might do each question for 3 nights, so... It might be a week or more before I get to it or get it finished, but please feel free to ask the question any time.

(PS, I know you said not to worry about the anarchy topic we talked about, though it's still on my mind! Lol. I haven't forgot. I just wanna do it right and go into detail and I've been so busy it's been tough. I will get to it eventually though!)

Oh, that's okay. I'd still be very interested in your answer about anarchy, but also please don't stress about it. There's no hurry honestly, and if you never quite feel like that's okay too... it requires so much thought to try and get it all straight.

My question is, and I apologize if it's too heavy, but it's something I worry about:

Is a future where mankind does not need to fight wars over fresh water likely?

Thanks for understanding!
And, wow... That is a pretty deep question.
I just watched a documentary on the subject of water shortages a few days ago and I can relate with your sentiments of worry.
In fact, I remember like around 20 years ago or so I was at a party with the guy who runs the well (Water company) for our local community and he was talking about this kind of stuff way back then and said it was like only a matter of time... I try to stay optimistic and hope we will find a way, but... I wouldn't be surprised if we end up with some kind of Mad Max type of future with people fighting over water... Scary to think about!

This one is just entering open beta, and is supposedly even better than Midjourney. https://beta.dreamstudio.ai/home

I figure a good question for a dream would be a hard one to answer. How about "Why do we dream?"

OOOooo! Thanks @pfunk!!! So glad I posted this here and didn't pay for that subscription yet! Now, maybe I'll use this other site you just suggested instead! I'm going to try it out shortly. :) It even has a "Dream" command instead of the "/imagine" one which almost seems like a synchronicity to me! So cool! :D
Also... Great question!!! There's at least a couple of people ahead of you in line and I was thinking I'm probably going to spend 3 dreaming nights one each question, so it might be a week or more before I get to it, but I'll send you a message when I'm done and let you know the results! :) <3

I recently used up my trial with Midjourney - if I had the time, i could play with it all day!

Question : how can we build a better future?

Hey @schemataobscura ! Thanks for leaving a comment.
I agree in regard to the Midjourney app! I could really sink a lot of time into that!
I was thinking about spending $30 for one month and then just making a BUNCH of images, we'll see though because pfunk just told me about DreamStudio which is another app that might be better in some ways and I'm experimenting with that one now. Also, another friend on Facebook told me about another one called RUDalle! So, I'll be checking that one out as well and we'll see what happens.
Pretty cool technology!

Good question in regard to the how can we build a better future!
I have a number of people in line now and I'm going to try to do each question for 3 dream nights, so it might be a couple weeks at this point before I get to your question, but when I do I will send you a message and let you know what I come up with. :) Thanks for asking a question! <3

No rush, have fun!
