Are you dreaming? Dreams come at night for most people and we remember some of them and we don't remember a lot of them. However, there is a distinction between a dream that takes place during our sleep and the dreams that we have when we are awake.
Recently, I read a quote from Louisa May Alcott saying, "We all have our own lives to follow, our own dream of weaving, and we all have some authority to make desires come true as long as we continue to believe."
Jack Ma, the founder of Alibaba and AliPay encourages entrepreneurs to follow their vision. " Believe in your dreams ", is his message, as he speaks in this inspirational video, about how he was rejected by 30 companies before starting Alibaba. Watch his inspirational advice to all aspiring entrepreneurs!
Why do we believe in dreams - our visions of what we want to be, of what we want to achieve when we are not certain if it will ever be possible?
The question is do you dream or not? If you dream you have no choice you have to believe in it. Well the truth is all inspirational stories are to motivate you. Just that, nothing more. The reality is, for every Jack Ma who dreamt and believed in his dream, there may be millions who did exactly the same but they ended up with nothing. No one tells their stories. So the probability of your dream becoming reality may be one in a million yet that is preached as the gospel truth. But what you do? Don't motivate people?
So the answer to your question is: we are humans, can't stop dreaming, and if can't stop it we better believe in it.
"To dream is human, to make it happen is divine"
