I said a few days ago that I have been suffering with not being able to sleep and it's been like that for a good few weeks, and I said on my last post that I was waiting for sleep paralysis to happen because it always happens when my body is over tired. Well guess what? It did!

I was in my bedroom and I know I was sleeping / dreaming or having a nightmare. I was awake and I was struggling. Something was happening to me and I honestly thought I was going to die. Normally when I suffer sleep paralysis my body becomes paralysed and I can't breathe. My body is awake and my mind is asleep. This time I'm sure I was paralysed for a bit, but the main thing was struggling to breathe. My husband was in my bedroom and I was shouting "Wake me up!!!" "Wake me up!!!" continuously. My husband seemed not to hear me or acknowledge me. Then I had his head in my hands and I was banging his head against my chest of drawers still shouting "Wake me up!!!" repetitively. He just didn't do anything and I felt like I was about to die. I ran into the street still shouting those words hoping someone would be able to help me. Next thing I suddenly woke up in real life and I was making loud noises. I was gasping for breath and I burst into tears. My husband came in and I told him what happened. He said I was dreaming because there was no shouting or noise coming from my room.
I wouldn't wish sleep paralysis on my worst enemy.... or would I? depends who I am thinking about. Anyway it's the most horrible thing and I hate it when it happens. Thing is, when I am suffering with insomnia for a long period of time, I know sleep paralysis is going to appear. I wish I had a warning sign before I go to be. That would be too easy wouldn't it?
I actually thought it was evil spirits holding me down before thanks for the explanation😂😂😂
That is scary... is there any treatment for it? Have you tried a sleep clinic?
