RE: A few words about dreams dictionatries

in #dreams7 years ago

I think dream books/dictionaries are a great place to start for the new dream interpreter... so is being involved in a Facebook group - don't know if there's a Discord group for dream interpretation... But yes, at the end of the day, it's down to the dreamer.

I have recurring themes in my dreams. I have a lot of: planes, trains, tornadoes, volcanoes (the storms are primarily reserved for rougher times of life), travel - I have my own dreamland map which bears little resemblance to any real map... I frequently visit some of my favorite places I spent parts of my life, yet rarely do they have more than a passing resemblance to the real place.

Anyway, thanks for your post.

The transportation vehicles often represent the movements of the consciousness between dimensions.
Thanks 👍

Trains are one of the things that gets underrepresented in most dream dictionaries. If they are mentioned, there is no elaboration about whether there's a difference if you're watching a train, riding (or even driving) a train, or if you're standing between the rails - as I often am.

Sometimes, I'm on the London Underground, but the stations are in the wrong place and the map is really weird...

My mother used to know when there was an international trip coming because she'd get dreams of not having her passport.

Thanks for your reply. Dreams are fascinating.

BTW, the lost of ID cards in dreams usually relates to connection to the higher self and getting out of the human identity.
Nevertheless, there are several levels to each dream.
