I rarely fly my kwads back to back. I am lucky if more that one works at any given time. I am planning a short road trip back to the waterfall today and so testing all the kwads before the trip was necessary.
First, I tested haunted kwad. No issues whatsoever. In fact, the Chameleon is such a dialed in frame that it was flying particularly well for the old eachine motors it was sporting (not recommended). I flew the kwad and then threw it in the back of the Wrangler......
Next up was my Steez. I use this primarily for freestyle over dry land. It is my goto kwad and flies better than anything I have owned. I popped a battery on the Steez, fired up the Gopro, armed it and took off. Simultaneously, the haunted kwad took off in the back of my Wrangler. The Wrangler I was sitting in. Haunted kwad bounced around and then flew out the back and hit the pavement.
FrSky allows a multiple kwads to be bound to one radio, but not multiple radios bound to one kwad. The bind is one way. Other radios identify each receiver and have a two way connection. With the FrSky, Taranis, you can bind many kwads. If they are all plugged in and set up in a similar fashion, there is a good chance they will all fly at the same time.
I knew this, but was getting complacent and forgot to unplug after landing. Unplugging should be the first thing you do after disarming. I got lucky. No one was hurt and no real damage...it did knock a few things loose on the haunted kwad, but nothing more than a 15 minute repair.
weapons in the air! Not toys! xD Happy flying mate!
