What comes next.
Welcome back to our weekly Drop in the Ocean post where we feature the amazing content that was created for the show.
This weeks topic was Liberate and I am sure that we all have mixed feelings about that, given recent events with HF20. Luckily, we got to have our Drop in the Ocean show which is a nice way of liberating ourselves from narrow perspectives as we share everyone's view on the topic. The break from posting good or bad has provided some downtime which I am sure we can all agree is liberation in itself, no matter how small, this leads to us posting a bit later than usual but the routine will resume from this week going forward.
In those little moments, you find you have freedom, of sorts, one tends to reflect and consider the road ahead. This is something I hope we all do but you must still be fully aware of what led you to be in a situation which you needed freeing from. Be mindful of the past and decisive in the value of aspects in yourself and those around you which may be the reason that we find ourselves trapped so often.
Join us as we dive right into this weeks Drop in the Ocean.
This weeks posts.
The votes have been rolling in from the attendees of the show and we have the posts ready to share with you all.
The top two voted writers will 'level up'. When a member has levelled up, they will receive a daily upvote from the BuddyUP account at 50%. The member keeps their level for 2 weeks, unless they level up again on DITO within those 2 weeks. Every time you level up, you will receive an additional 10% on your daily vote, maxing out at level 5.
The writer with the most votes will be resteemed straight after this post. This is so we can all look back at the BuddyUP blog and see the winning posts from each week.
If you are wondering how you can join the Drop in the Ocean show, you will find all the required information at the bottom of this post.
Following the posts section be sure to have a look and join in on our "contest" and if you have any other prompts you would like to share on the new topic please share so we can all have inspiration to create the best posts we can.
@Penderis
Liberation can come in many forms and @penderis shares a story with us that shows us a few people who could all use a little liberation. He gives us a couple of different viewpoints as he describes an awkward night between these characters.
You read his text, checking the time you realise it is 30 min after your message and just says, "Open." That upsets you but at least he is here now.
When relationships start to deteriorate and decisions have to be made, it's easy to avoid uncomfortable situations and conversations that do none of these characters any good as they are clearly unhappy. @Penderis shows us that sometimes having those uncomfortable conversations are necessary in order to liberate all parties involved from the chains that bind them together.
I wonder though, those are the reasons for her wellbeing, but this is about me, and I need to decide. At least have her realise that I don't see a future for us.
The struggle of the characters is something I'm sure we can all relate to. It's never easy to remove someone from your life, especially someone you have a history with but it can also be very liberating if you can find the courage.

@ShadowsPub
No one likes just visiting a hospital, even if only for a few moments. They are fortunate enough to leave when visiting times are past and return to their routines with the visit barring bad news merely being an inconvenience.
Being stuck in the hospital until you are better may at first seem novel, merely an inconvenient break from your home routine, maybe you are fortunate enough to have a great view even.
Looking out the window I find I overlook a pond surrounded by a walking path. The pond is teeming with ducks which were great fun to watch zipping around the water and wandering around the little island in the middle of it.
Finally being liberated from her hospital stay which you can read more about here @ShadowsPub reflects not only on the feeling of freedom she had when being allowed to go home but is able to comparatively share with us her view on the liberation her roommate will hopefully soon experience.
The real liberation in this room will be the day my roommate goes home.
Now free from the restrictions of the hospital and being able to go about her life albeit, with a bit different routine, for the time being, she shares how liberation comes in forms great and small as she takes us through the painful journey her roommate has had with no confirmed end in sight.

Our runners-up for this week
Thank you to everyone who was at the show and contributed their posts on our topic of the week. Every post and person that joins in makes Drop in the Ocean worth having and helps us all find some fresh perspectives on the topic at hand but not only that to cement the value of community we share liberating us from sometimes self-imposed isolation online.
So where are the rest of the posts?
@Monchhichi23
Re-introducing us to the mousey in her head that seemingly controls all great ideas and helpful processing of information, @Monchhichi23 reflects on the case of being liberated from this un-cooperative mousey but what will happen then?
@TheHive
Sharing their thoughts on liberation not only the social aspect but also on a more personal level, the differences and challenges of each physical and mental liberation we face on a daily basis. Be sure to read @Thehive's post as they take us through the topic in a nutshell.
