We all have our own perception of what could be should be will be and why. When we look at the world we live in. There is seven billion perceptions of what living is all about. And in everyone one of them no two are identical. We do not all see a rose the same, just looking at a flower from two different angles can change what is viewed. We all see colour different too. Where some cannot see a certain colour and others can define shades of colour with great accuracy.
When we close our eyes and listen to the words of a story. Our imaginations take us to different places. Not just within ourself. But everyone's imagination will vary in some way. We may all envision sand if the story is about walking through a desert and water if it is by the sea. Tree's and forest when we think of mountains. Snowboarding if we think of snow on a mountain top.
The simple truth is we are all different. Commonality will happen on many things and some things undisputed. We all know a ball is a ball to call it a bat is just to be silly. Even in tat our perception of what a ball is can vary. Some will think an instant thought of a basketball, others a baseball. Some will think of a pitcher throwing the ball at a fast speed or a curve ball. Every perception can be right in some cases. That is removing the silly of calling a ball a bat, that is just lack of education.
Right now I hold a positive perspective on a negative perception when I look at Steem Steemit and the other interfaces. I see very little done to consolidate Steem as a currency. This does seem to be more a people problem than Steem. I see a lot of no interest in some things unless there is a way to make a profit quick from it.
On the other side I see. We have a great opportunity with some really great people. There are projects in the pipeline and already existing that can provide a means to use Steem as a currency.
I see the potential Steem has (think I do). I also see little interest in taking it there. But from the little spark of interest. Maybe a star can be born.

I understand how you feel about Steem/Steemit... I always try to look at the more positive side, but my goals are nowhere near as ambitious as yours. It just tickles me that y'all read my posts and hope that I am not boring anyone lol.
But yes, you're right. We do have a great opportunity with some awesome people and you never know what the future holds.
Yup, got to keep putting one foot in front of the other to keep moving forward.

Seems to be a moving target when faced with uncertainty such as the future or even just the current state of steem. We have no choice but to shift our perspective as we consider all the possibilities. Even then the current state does not help the perception of steem if given weight.
