All efforts will pay off as long as you strive and the lack of effort will do exactly the opposite thing, that's it. Money is a drug, once you touch it, you want more and more, the most important thing is that you don't become greedy, money is important, but not all you need in life. Personally I think we have to have a balance, and do things we love, and help others, if you have money but not happines what's the achievement? those are my personal thoughts :)
