Drugs are Fun (Phychonaut)

Hello you! My dear fellow steemer!!!

Today I’m going to talk about a topic I’m very passionate about.

First: Here is a definition by reddit Phychonaut community for those of you who don´t have any idea of what I’m talking about. -----> (https://www.reddit.com/r/Psychonaut/)

"A Phychonaut is a person who explores activities by which altered states of consciousness are induced and utilized for spiritual purposes or the exploration of the human condition, including shamanism, lamas of the Tibetan Buddhist tradition, sensory deprivation, and both archaic and modern users of entheogenic substances, in order to gain deeper insights into the mind and spirituality."

What you are looking at is a cactus called "San Pedro". I decided to start by explaining this because I’ve tried a couple of psychedelics (LSD, Salvia, Weed (like most of you)), but for me, when I tried this, it was a completely whole other trip.

I love meditation and all the practices that are related to spiritual growth. From my perspective it is really an experience that takes you places here in life that cannot be achieved otherwise. Self-control has always been my main concern. I want to grow out of dependence and transcend towards true freedom (I would need a whole other post to explain what I mean by this so just go with it). True mind control from my perspective is achieving new experiences (either good or bad trips) which help me understand reality better as a whole and be more present to the moment.

In conclusion: Don’t be a p#ssy and go try some drugs. =) (Also this is only the beginning of a series im planing, so if some love is shown, I will start blogging about this topics)

Upvote this and I will go further into detail of what it is like to be tripping like crazy!!

Hey @sarahaustin, i have! thats why I use their definition of Phychonaut =)

Psychonaut here, ayahuasca is by far the most spiritual experience i have had with mind expanding substances, san pedro and peyote are awesome 5 hours of pure wildness

I havent tried ayahuasca yet! But my San Pedro experience was 12 - 14 hours long!!!
