Philippines President Makes Good on Pledge to Mass Murder People Who Use or Sell Drugs, Calls for "No Mercy" in State of the Nation Address
How in the world does a nation elect someone who has such disrespect for basic human rights? I'm sure they regret actually electing this man who states this ridiculous policy in his most recent state of the nation address (full text found here). I really hope this doesn't come to fruition, would be a humanitarian crisis as far as I can see it for executing over 100,000 people!

I think we need to do a lot to improve conditions here in America but our policies don't come anywhere near as bad at this. If we can push for no mandatory sentences and less imprisonment in general for non-violent crimes I feel we'd be better off.
