I invested 24 steem and so far got back in three day 7 steem.
Long term it might be profitable. But it will take effort like most successful things. You have to keep building the buildings .
But I have just started and do not know all the in’s and out’s of it.

It can be profitable...but not very. You have to play a lot to earn even a little. Battles most certainly need to be re-enabled as well. It will take regular playing for weeks or months to start earning a good amount of Steem. Well...above what people invested. Many may never earn back what they put in, because the Steem rewards seems to shrink every day.

I don't get why they felt the need to make it more difficult. The price of the drug buildings at higher levels is pretty insane. How are you supposed to earn that much without being attacked and losing it all once battles are re-enabled? I dunno how I'm gonna earn 300k alcohol for level 4 Pharm Lab. That's two full days at my current rate. Gonna have to upgrade my silos for damn sure.

imo a lot depends on how do you keep the balance between buying drug buildings for steems and buying drug building for resources
I agree and buying the more productive buildings I think is better then getting multiple lesser buildings.

It’s popularity is making it less profitable as I see it. I have to spend more to make more and right now the spending is out pacing the payouts.
