So, I have been playing DrugWars for a 12 days now 😊, and now I have a small experience with the game. In time I take a more detailed look in it and try to understand it better in order to invest vise in it.
This game is an absolute hit. At the moment at writing this it has more than 6000 players. It is the fastest growing game on a blockchain ever! Where this will go remains to see. A 50k players in a couple of months maybe 😊.
Here is where I stand at the moment according to @bookkeeping.
So, a total investment of 45,5 STEEM, and I will break even in 2 days. That is 14 days in total, just two weeks. This is amazing.
Resource production
There are three resource in the game: Drugs, Weapons and Alcohol. In a couple of occasions, I find myself having to much of something and not enough of some other resource.
Which resource is the most needed one?
To upgrade a building from the office section you need all three recourses. For building from the drug section also all the three resources. Building from the weapon section, drug and alcohol only, building from the Alcohol section drugs and weapons.
So, drug is needed for all the buildings, and weapons and alcohol are not needed for their own buildings.
Does this mean that that drugs are the most needed resource?
Well not. Because if we take a lot of the amount of resource needed, drugs are always in the smallest quantity. There is gradation in the resources for almost all of the buildings starting with the lowest amount for drugs, then weapons and the highest amount of alcohol.
So the alcohol is the champion here. Or at least one can keep drugs and alcohol at the same level and the weapons one level down. You can always invest the excess drugs in a heist.
Buildings upgrades
Now that we have seen which category of buildings the priority has, let’s take a look in the buildings them self. In particular, the resources needed and the increase of the production of the buildings. From what I can tell investing in the more expensive buildings seems to be more profitable. For example, the drug buildings, the resources required for upgrading the Cocina to level 4, are near double the ones that are required to upgrade the Meth lab. But if you have a look at the increase in the production, the Cocina offers three or four times the production than the Meth Lab. It is two time more profitable to invest in the Cocina then the Meth Lab.
From the Cocina to Pharmaceutical Lab, the upgraders seem to follow the profitability and there is small difference.
Conclusion
So, the second-best building from each category, Cocina, Black Market and Castle are the way to go.
When applied the category prirority this how the list looks like:
- Cocina
- Castel
- Black Market
Or if you are unable to go for this buildings than at least the ones next to them. Avoid the low level buildings in the beginning. Then when you have a solid production, and the upgrade of them is almost symbolic you can afford them.
This is how it is now. The game may have a tweaks in the future.
