Last week has been really intense with the irruption of @drugwars ๐ into Steem Blockchain
DrugWars is a free to play massively multiplayer strategy and simulation game based on Steem blockchain where people can get rewarded, depending of their in-game production capacity.

During these days there have been some bugs but seems they have fixed most of them. With the last update (just some hours ago) it seems is working better but it's still under development (battles are still disabled). Remember that it is 'Early Access V0.1.5
Let me share where I am at the moment and what I have invested to stay at this level:
As you can see, I'm producing 50.460 drugs/day, 65.750 weapons/day and 48.210 alcohol/day.
I don't have any Unit on Boot Camp as Battles are disabled at the moment.
At this moment I'm earning 2,629 Steem/day but you have to consider that I have invested 26,439 Steem into the game, so at this moment these are the real statistics:

As you can see at this moment I'm loosing Steem. So, is it possible to have real earnings? I've seen several posts saying that they are earning 4 Steem/day, but they don't say how much they have invested. After some days playing the game, I can say that without investing it seems impossible to have real earnings. Why? Well, the earnings come from the total amount of drug production and if you take a look at the leaderboard, the TOP10 players are producing from 418.000 to 250.000 drugs everyone. When you start the game without investing, how much can you produce? 500-1.000 drugs/day? Top10 players are porducing about 3.000.000 of drugs per day (and increasing) so you mean about 0.0001% and your earnings can be about 0.02 Steem /day. But while the top players are earning more and more it seems you'll win less Steem every day. To upgrade to next levels of drug production you also need to have weapons & alcohol and without investing you need days to earn the weapons & alcohol needed.
Conclusion: if we want to recrute new people to the Steem blockchain, it won't help that they have to buy Steem in order to win some Steem by producing drugs. It can be discouraging if they need to invest just when they land to the game. I first came to Steemit one year ago so I've earn some Steem posting, playing Steem Monsters... but without liquid Steem, it's so difficult.
How can we make the game more atractive for people that is not on the Steem platform?
I think that encouraging people to write a post on @steemit @steempeak @partiko @esteemapp, or any other front-end or dApp will be so positive, but it doesn't seem that @drugwars or @drugwars-dealer have the power to upvote posts. Maybe, we, the players will have to build a curation team? What do you think about?
What about giving rewards when you complete a level? In a way like Steem Monsters? Maybe extra drug production buildings. It could be random buildings so if you are so lucky you can level up faster.
Buying new production buildings by Paypal or credit card can be easier for people who wants to join but haven't been in the Steem blockchain.
Well, they are some ideas...
At the moment I've lost Steem, but want to try what happens if I wait until I've produced enough drugs, weapons and alcohol to level up the drug production buildings, without investing more Steem (in fact, today, if I wanted to level up the Pharmaceutical Lab I would need to invest 14 Steem). I think tomorrow afternoon I'll update the Parmaceutical Lab as I will have 81.000 alcohol (I've enough drugs and weapons but not enough alcohol yet). When I level up I'll see how much Steem can earn per day.
What do you think about? How do you think that the game can be more attractive? It has been a great week for @drugwars but can it be sustainable?
