I don't believe that would be the case with DrugWars. Few of the reasons why I think so are:
- It comes from @futureshock which is an established Steem user and have already developed several DApps on Steem- https://steemit.com/future/@futureshock/futureshock-leading-the-way-for-world-innovators-revolution-leaders-life-entrepreneurs
- Unlike MagicDice, they have invested heavily in the game, like creating artworks, upgrading continuously etc. That definitely involves a lot of effort and hence money too.
- Future token is already tradeable on their own platform and on oByte.
So, it feels like being more genuine platform to me.
