At least they have proven that a game like this can be very popular. There's nothing stopping another dev making a more sustainable version. I hope this is all just teething problems but it doesn't look good.

I disagree. They have proven that people on Steem love getting paid rewards, especially when you can break even in 7 days and make profits "for life".
No doubt the game would be popular if it was not a ponzi, just not at this level.
