Setting clear boundaries is incredibly important when working from home. This is especially true when there are other people in the house that might be distracting you from your work. I still have to find better ways to do this with my roommate so that we don't end up chatting for hours!

I had a similar challenge a while back immediately I just got out of college. There were 3 of us living together, the other 2 had regular jobs, being the entrepreneur of the bunch, I get to work from home...on weekends and evening when I had things to do (typically my roomies are usually around at these times) I had a desk stationed in the kitchen, from where I worked.
Some enough, it became my permanent office!
