You Only Get A Few Chapters In Your Life (Take THIS Advice)

in #dsound7 years ago (edited)

Hey everyone!

Thanks for poppin' into my post here! I wanted to create this episode of my podcast because I think so many of us get caught up and forget to really relish the moment. I don't mean this in a cliche way, I mean every 10 years of your life is drastically different than 10 years before. Only you control how that comparison looks, you can either count your blessings and see how many things you were motivated to do or if you let time slip by without valuing it you'll be looking back missing the "good old times"!

The time is now and the time is great! You may not be in the same situation as before or you may be in a more difficult position now but you can ALWAYS make things better than they are currently by analyzing what you can improve in yourself and in your life and then planning to execute. Following through with anything that you know will improve your personality, your perception or the situation you're in will always pay off and there's no excuse to it! This episode dives deeper into this subject as well as shows you a bit of how I've applied this concept to my own life!

Thank you all so much for coming into my podcasts and all my posts! It's really encouraging me to improve my podcast and do more so thank you Steem fam :) Steemit really does incentive people to work hard on content, I love it!

I agree. 10 years ago I cared about sports and school. Now it's my job and career. 10 years from now it could be financial freedom and my family! Thanks for the article and perspective.

Perfect example my man!

I'm trying to instil values like these into my kids.

My parents were baby boomers and they seemed to instil the opposite values into my siblings and myself . It was hard to break out of their gestalt and see things from a different perspective.

It's like kids leading kids is how I feel sometimes. We can only do our very best and hope that it's enough!

People tend to be stuck with their past. Reminiscing the-old-good-glorious-day when were younger and I wishing you can go back to those moments but never realize you can create more of those moments. Others are frustrated with their past mistake and can't move on.

EXACTLY! People think that 21 is the end of your youth, and then 25, then 30, then 35 and so on and you see people doing AMAZING things at ALL ages!

Glorious days is never behind you it is always in front of you. :) You can do all things regardless of the age. I believe that people should stop limiting themselves on their circumstances.

Only today morning I watched your youtube on steem. It is really interesting and useful. So I thought to search your blog. Then I just saw this post and it is more interesting. yes life goal changes with every decade. But I think the first 20years it won't change much. And that is the most relax and joyful times of most of ours life. thanks, for getting me into those joyful days.

The music is very cool. I heard it from start to finish, very penetrating heart. I really like, thank you ... I am very entertained and always carried away from the charm of your music

Solid content as usual Brian 👊🏼

Found a chrome extension today called Death Clock, don't know if you're using chrome or have heard about it but just thought it fitted in nice with the topic of yours today, a reminder of being present and relishing the moment.

Can strongly recommend, what is does is that it looks like this when you open a new tab:
