Hello guys!
I'm @crissimoes and this is my twenty sixth post here on @dsound! Are you ready for another class?
Today we are going to talk about Weather and Nature Events.
Let’s get started!
Fenómenos Naturais – Nature Events
Tempo – Weather
Céu – Sky
Sol – Sun
Chuva – Rain
Neve – Snow
Granizo – Hail
Vento – Wind
Nevoeiro – Fog
Tornado – Tornado
Furacão – Hurricane
Tempestade – Storm
Sismo – Earthquake
Tsunami – Tsunami
Frio – Cold
Quente – Hot
In Portuguese when we want to say that there is a very sunny day we say “Ensolarado”.
When it’s raining a lot we say “Chuvoso”.
And when there are many clouds in the sky we say “Nebulado”
Let’s now check this dialogue between Ana and Maria about the weather in Portugal:
- Maria: Olá Ana! Hoje está muito frio em Vila Real! Como está o tempo no Porto?
- Hi Ana! Today is very cold here in Vila Real! How is the weather in Porto?
- Ana: Olá Maria! Por aqui está um dia quente, muito ensolarado!
- Hi Maria! Here’s a hot day, sunny day!
We have come to the end of another Portuguese Class.
If you have any question please let me know in the comments bellow.
I hope you have enjoyed my twenty sixth post here on @dsound and I’m looking foward to see you next time!

Thank you for this short tutorial. I think it is better if you can create a video so we will be able to know the pronunciation. :D But still grateful for your post though. I hope we can get connected by following each other to share interesting contents.
Thanks for your comment and opinion! I'll think about it! :)
