The Ridged Riverbed
Sea-slugs biding time:
Admiring the algal blooms,
Ruminating on the saline virtues
Of the estuary's sea-sludge
Laughing silently.
Humor of the downtrodden half-moon,
Glowing with no glow—
Awaiting the grace of a summer monsoon.
It'll be how it oughta be:
Soon, soon, a change gon' come.
If slug-I stay still or run, no matter—
To stand strong in the face
Of a force of nature is wise,
To attempt to buck its grain
Likely ends in one's demise.
The untangling of subtle pins
On the seafloor:
Poseidon please un-padlock me!
Slug-I reached my limits;
Let me roam unto infinity.

Hello , i am working on steemit Platform, now with reputation of 36, looking to grow , if there is any strategy which i can follow and make my income $500 per month, kindly guide, also if there is some genuine online work, i am open for the same.
The beautiful, bright and colorful shades of marine slugs and, in themselves, constitute an allegory. What do they symbolize? Look, a challenge is not easy. Also important is the "summer monsoon", a natural phenomenon that moves the winds from south to north (I think it is removed, it gets up, it is not put, it is not saved). Their strength is in their charge, they bring rain and renew life.
The majesty of the slugs is comparable to that of the beings that fight to stay firm before the difficulties, although the conditions are not the best. The Universe will reward waiting, battle, perseverance. The title: "The Ridged Riverbed" speaks of a water spear that crosses stretches, for meek moments, for courageous moments and along its channel it takes life, movement, growth. Then, the idea posed by the voice in the poem could refer to the aggrandizement of the river of life, to its growth when there is wind in favor and rains that irrigate the riverbed. But above all, excellence, courage, courage, perseverance and brilliance, even when the conditions are not the best.
Friend d-pend, a greeting to this beautiful poem, marine slugs are an example of beauty and perseverance. Its body has bilateral symmetry, its sides are mirror. They can absorb the poison of other species to annex it in their defense, most are poisonous. They move in a sensory world, they are almost blind and Poseidon gave him the gift of possessing both sexes, they are hermaphrodites, so that they can choose what they want to be. It is a wonder of nature. And God gave you the gift of writing it, a hug brother.
I have to confess i had not seen (or probably pay attention to) these slugs. Amazing photographs. They must shame any designer or model. Out of this world. In regards to the poem i can sense some ironic use of the slug as a metaphor for us all, pinned to the seafloor by this bear market that's making life unbearable under this sea.
So many great projects hoping to bloom and expand. You can't do much with Steem so low.
I hope this was not a too mundane reading of this wonderful arrangement of extraterrestrial images and always extraordinary poetry.
I wish i had the silent certainty of the slug that a "summer monsoon" is about to hit. And yet, I am betting all my marbles on it :)
The sea slugs are beautiful and magnificently creepy, I bet they bite. Or is that my fear of the unknown speaking. There colors speak volumes about how majestic they are. I thank you for showing us humans a exit door to allow us to go and hang out in their world. Although we may never fully understand what they think about if they think at all or whether they exist on a totally different sphere of communication and thought stream I still love being in their world for a moment in time. Thanks @d-pend once again you hit it out of the ballpark.
Amazing photography. I appreciate your efforts for taking such wonderful photos.

awesome click dude with such good poem bll##iss full
I like the poem in its entirety. There's one tercet that I love more,
"Humor of the downtrodden half-moon,
Glowing with no glow—
Awaiting the grace of a summer monsoon."
I love sentences that are written well or describe things perfectly. This was one of the perfect description "glowing with no glow".
