Notes

What do you mean? The title is completely normal. You don't speak cryptography? On this track I practiced some heavy manipulation of samples using chopping, multiplying, removing, and reversing techniques. I've always wanted to experiment with that process, but wow, it's time intensive! Really fun, though. You wind up with a project looking like so:

I also automated some of the tracks pretty heavily on many parameters, including volume, panning, different variables for flanger, overdrive, echo, and bitcrusher. The bitcrusher parameters were definitely the most fun to mess with. It's a type of distortion; you can hear it on the snare part. Automation is when you draw lines for various aspects of a track so it will automatically change its value over time, which looks like this:

There are five instruments in this song, all patches from my Yamaha Montage. It's kick, snare, "wood bits," bass, and wah rhodes. They are doubled with one clean track and one distorted track. This type of music isn't everybody's cup of tea, but if you're into synthetic sounds with an organic edge, you should enjoy it. Have a great day and thanks for checking out my music!

Thanks! Well, I don't mind if you're biased towards my music XD thanks a lot man! Got any links to your music? You ever upload to @dsound @kouba01?

Right on, glad you dig it!

You're a great composer, you need to make more music my friend @d-pend

Can you join me in the biggest SBD competition, I want to raise the level of support for new people on Steemit. It would be our honor if you can support this competition if you can @d-pend

Steemit Ultimate Challenge 8 Weeks ( Prize Fund 2000 SBD ) Week #1

very cool, have you listened to aphex twin's 'acoustic controlled instruments' it's epic

Yes!! That's the main influence I had in my head. From making this I can see how he was able to pull that off, but it is a lot of work. That album is mind-blowing. Haven't listened to it for a long time but it made a huge impression on me @ahoy8d

I've also listened to a lot of Autechre; that's probably my favorite electronic project.

Hand over the robojazz :D

A very interesting sound you got going, I really dig the lo-fi feel to it. Great work That project looks really tedious, my musical projects are way more simple

@d-pend, Wow....so cool synthetic sounds indeed. Its giving me more inspiration. Nice to hear any ones then can be meditate them.

This is atmospheric and spacey! The artwork is magnificent. I wanna live in one of those cyberpunk megalopolises!

I know, right! So ethereal and bleak but at the same time beautiful. Thanks for stopping by @realjohnaziz!

Very creative electronic music. Outstanding artworks entire. So glorious post created finally. Motivated me highly.

Cool! It would also be cool if you could convert this type of music into ORIGINAL abstract visualizations, like what @havok777 does with his "glitch art" posts. Then you would have original images with accompanying original music. That would be awesome...

Wow your composition is awesome @d-pend. Keep it up

Hey d-pend!!!.. which synth did you use for this? or are these all samples?

@d-pend can you please tell me how you uploaded all the images in your post. Did you made your post via dsound and later you edited on steemit or how you did it?
I would very much appreciate it if you could tell me.

And @d-pend has done it again. Great sound, keep it up 👍

@d-pend, Bro, Im also a SMALL musician... I tried to upload my music in dsound... but failed... can you help me pls... it's saying that there is a problem in IPFS setting......

You can answer me at my number via wahtsapp or viber. My name is Nayan and my number is +8801914444328. Thanks

HI @d-pend I have mentioned you in my new article “Hi and Welcome to Steemit!”… “Err, what is Steemit?”… An Interview with Steemit.. If you have a mo I'd love to know what you think? Many Thanks, @dylan007.

i like musical experiments :) keep it up

Tu sabes este trabajo

Your good to post, please check this dsounds

I really like this. It's original and has a great rhythm. Nice work!

Great glitch. This is music after my own heart.

Wow, those are some nice textures. Heavily mangled but still easy on the ear! I like the way you went all out and practically showcased your skills, especially with those reversed kicks, they sounded so smooth. I don't know if you are into making trap beats, but parts like 1:32 and 1:39 would make for great-sounding trap/dub beats/fills if you focused on arranging them around a nice floaty pad layer a la Alva Noto. Maybe with some extreme panning wierdness?
Also, what kind of bitcrusher did you use? My go-to is TAL Bitcrusher, but honestly I can never get the aliasing right, especially when I reverse or stretch the samples afterwards, like you've done @ 0:57.

For some reason my upvote is stuck at loading, I may have come to late :(

do not be afraid to be noisy.karna music is cool
