David sent me the bare bones of the track and I was hooked by his clever guitar riff. The lyrics came pretty quickly and we both agreed on a story about a man travelling for the song subject. So, the man leaves home to search for a better life, but he doesn't find it because everything he has is back at home in his little town that he left behind.
It's a really great song that myself and David are extremely proud of, and have slaved over these past few weeks.
We both decided that music and composing can't be rushed and have agreed that quality over quantity is what we now strive for.
We hope you love STEPPING OUT as much as we did writing, performing and producing it.
