SONG REQUEST

Today we are discovering another great song by Z-trip, it's called "Walking Dead" feat. Chester Bennington.
it was very interesting to work on it, as I am out of my comfort zone, the full major chorus was strange yet very pleasant to listen to.

Congratulation to @grant-vegra for suggesting the song and winning 0.5SBD. I hope I managed to capture an acoustic version of this song, I tried to stay close to the original, yet changed it somehow :)

Walking Dead

In the chill of the night
I can feel my heart racing
As I run towards the light
that seems so far away
Wondering forever
In the darkest of shadows
Wondering if I will ever see you again
Wondering if I will ever see you again
I'll take your love
(I'll take your love)
I'll take your hate
(take your hate)
I'll take you're desire
I'll take the world
when it turns on you
(when it turns on you)
I'll set it on fire

W-the-w-th-th-the walking dead
The walking dead (walking dead)
Digging in the dirt
I can feel you getting closer
Steadying my hands through the blistering pain
Anxiously awaiting for the earth to reveal you
Wondering if I will ever see you again (see you again)
Wondering if I will ever see you again
I'll take your love
(I'll take your love)
I'll take your hate
(take your hate)
I'll take you're desire
I'll take your heart
I'll take your pain
(I'll take your pain)
I'll bring you to life
I'll bring you to life

OOOO sh*t you need to send me this mp3 on discord :D This is PERFECT!!!

desiiiire!!!! Ill listen to this everyday :D

Hahaha ok I will bro :)

I have never come across this song. You seem really comfortable in this style. I could just picture you doing a set in a smokey blues/jazz club whilst sipping a a large Rum. I will hold that image!!

The original is like a blend of trip hop and dark pop, quite interesting, but right now it's difficult to find it, even on Youtube. Probably Chester Bennington's label planning on making some money!

This cool!! Where can I put my request in?

here is perfect :)

I would love you to do your version of Jamiroquai's - Space Cowboy <3

This song reminds me of summer '94 with my best friend Melanie <3

I know this song so much ! I actually know it so well that I can play it right away ! Do You prefer having it on dsound, or as a live performance video on Dlive? I never give anyone the choice normally , because I need to learn the song and know it by heart to perform it live, and this is just my favorite song of all time.

I Jam it all the time with my friend Lionel, and he is a double bass playa so I might go visit him :) next week!

Weeeeh, I nailed it then with my request, sweeet! 👍💕
I kinda had a feeling that song is your thing too 😁
I am looking forward to see you on Dlive ✌️❤️✊️🎶

Yeah , the original band was so good, I loved the acid jazz vibe, it went to disco later on which is ok with me , but the whole era "Emeregency on Planet Earth" and "Travelling without Moving" is the best era because Jay Kay had very awakening lyrics about us destroying the planet, that was such a nice blend for that time

Oh my, it's like you are reading my mind! That is what captivated me the most too <3

Your voice fits this style. Great job, my friend! :)

Thank you my friend !
