This is a very important time for me, this is the final piece of the puzzle, the last song of my first album "Neo", and I am very excited to move on to my second album as it was released 5 years ago now, a lot of things happened since.

This song came to me in one block, lyrics ,melody, and arrangement, in front of the Twin Studio in Paris. I was doing a tour in France while still recording my album in South Africa.
I went to visit a friend of mine called Mikels, he has one of the best studio in Paris called Twin Studio, and I was waiting for them to open the door of the studio on this early day of autumn.As usual musicians are NEVER on time.
I was staring a leaf falling from a tree, looking at its dance, in slow motion, and the idea of a Waltz came to me.
While waiting for someone to arrive i started singing, that's a thing I do when I am bored. sad or in a life-threatening situation.

The chorus came first, and I decided to keep on singing until someone open that damn door,because I had no pen and paper or device to record the idea that will soon vanish.
You need to be very careful when you have an awesome idea.You can't just force it, you have to respect it, let it come to you , like a wounded animal.
I eventually wrote in my head the entire song on that pavement in front of Twin Studio.And I managed to remember it , which is the real miracle here knowing my attention span.
The song is about that feeling of bliss that you get when you manage to get away from a relationship that was destructive.
I think up to that day it's one of the best feeling in the world, a catharsis , like pooping, or popping bubble wrap.

The inspiration for this song was any french Waltz, or if System of A Down plugged acoustic instruments and wore tuxedo...
