Yesterday we shared Fireproof which was our first vocal outing, albeit a duet. Today’s track was our first solo vocal outing. The track is about being constantly put down to such a degree that you begin to doubt yourself. It was written for a friend going through a difficult relationship. Although supported by friends and family the turning point only came when they were able to "listen to the voice inciting you, it's shouting out truths old and new" and realise that "you can't kill my soul with a verbal blow".
