In a original recorder for @dsound, I share five pieces of the serie of "Estudios Sencillos" by the cuban composer Leo Brouwer (1939*). The third part of a set of twenty pieces, with pedagogical character, divided into four series with five studies. The first (1 to 5) dates from 1960 to 1961, this second (6 to 10) of 1962, and the last two series (11 to 15, and 15 to 20) composed between 1980 and 1981.
The selected pieces are:
Estudios Sencillos n11, n12, n13, n14, and n15.
The study n11 is a work of rhythmic character, sometimes lyrical, with tonal language that differentiates them from the first series (composed twenty years before). Technically it covers several arpeggio formulas, pull-offs, hammer-ons, and fixed positions.
The "Estudio Sencillo n12", is a work of lyrical character with tonal language. Technically it covers diferent arpeggio formulas, and separation of the voices.
Study n13 is a work of rhythmic character with tonal language, that explore the touch intensity, touch of thumb, pull-offs, hammer-ons, and fixed positions.
Written in the 1980's, the Study n14 is characterized by the rhythmic character, like the previous ones with tonal language. Technically also explore the touch intensity, touch of thumb, pull-offs, hammer-ons, and fixed positions.
The Study n15, is characterized by the rhythmic and lyrical character. Technically explore the counterpoint control, pull-offs, hammer-ons, and fixed positions.
